Highlights of 2024!
Powwow in Paradise
Oahu Native Nation Organization hosted the second annual Powwow in Paradise. A powwow on the beach is something I could get use to! Ala Moana beach is a beautiful location. This was my second powwow on Oahu. I hope to one day vend at this event in the future. I was able to be a part of powwos in three different states this year Hawaii, Washington, and Oregon!
Beaded Pride Earrings Workshop
I got to teach my first ever workshop at Magic Hour Hawaii! We created my signature double pin style earrings in customizable pride colors. Mahalo Magic Hour Hawaii for being the biggest supporter of my business! They host awesome markets, other events, monthly mixers, and us just a safe space for for the shes, theys, and gays!
PNW Holiday Market
Nara's New Year's Eve Sobriety Powwow was a great way to end the year! We got to seem many familiar faces from the powwow scene. It was also our first event ever in Oregon and we hope to attend more in 2025! Check out the host Native American Rehabilitation Association and all the great work they do for native peaples.!
Highlights of 2023!
Muckleshoot Winter Powwow
This event was a great start to our year! I was presently surprised to see so many familiar faces while vending there. The Muckleshoot Winter Powwow was also our last event in Washington before relocating to Oahu. Thank you to for the send off Muckleshoot!
Honolulu Intertribal Powwow
Mahalo to the Oahu Intertribal Council for hosting such an incredible event! It was a perfect introduction to the island and we met so many Indigienous folx from all over Turtle Island. I was honored to participate in the raising funds for MMIP and the survivors of boarding schools.
PNW Holiday Market
Roosevelt is my partner's alma mater! I was happy to be a part of an event that benefited the graduating class of 2024. I got to meet current students, their families, community members, and many generations of Rough Riders!
Highlights of 2022!
Puyallup Tribal Powwow
This was my first time vending at a Powwow with Evagreen Indigiqueen Beadwork. It was also our most successful event ever! Years ago when my sister had a beadwork business, I sold some loop earrings on her table at the Powwow but it was awesome to be back wihtmy own business.
S'Klallam Days
We made the Port Gamble S'Klallam's October news letter! Did you spot my evagreen hair in the top right photo? We loved being a part of the my mom's tribe's celebrating. It was also great seeing all our friends and family!
PNW Holiday Market
This was our second year attending this event hosted by Kitsap Bazaar. There was over 70 vendors making this the perfect event for holiday markets. There was also food and drinks available, as well as, an apperence by the Grinch. The event raised over $600 for Fishline by donating $1 of the $5 entry fee.
